I'm glad we left a couple of days free after our vacation before having to go back to work because we needed it. It took a couple of days just to get our laundry and shopping in order. Today we got to relax a little bit and for me that included baking up a batch of cookies to take with me to work tomorrow.
Some lemon ricotta cookies from Giada's recipes on Food Network. The finished, cooled cookies were glazed with a mix of powdered sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest. The Canadian's been gobbling them up left and right. Good thing I finally wisened up and made extra.
