Last night Kari and I went down to Arco Arena for a rockin' Christian concert. It was $10 at the door so we couldn't beat the price. The one downside was that you couldn't buy tickets ahead of time and the doors didn't open until 5:30 pm so we had to be there early to make sure we got a spot. And much to our delight, the weather forecast was actually accurate yesterday and we got to stand for 40 minutes in the windy downpour of south Sacramento. By the time we got inside my whole right pant leg was completely soaked and literally dripping water.
Arco's not a very big venue, so even though we chose the last row of the bottom floor, we still had great views. Plus, I'm sure you could still hear it even out in the parking lot.
Me and follow rebel rocker, Kari.
Eventually we both dried off, just in time to drive home at 10:00 pm. That's a late night for moldy oldies such as ourselves. And then once I got home, Chris and I laid in bed chatting until almost 12:30 am. We chose poorly considering we had to get up at 7:00 am this morning to get ready for moving day! Chris just drove off with Mr. A. to pick up the moving van and will come back for me on his way back to the 'rents. Maybe I'll quit yawning by then....
